Longtime sugarhouse owner/operator Howard Boyden will explain and demonstrate how maple sap is gathered today and the steps necessary to become the various grades of maple syrup and candy. Afterwards, we will tour the nearby fully restored one-room Boyden Schoolhouse, similar to our very own Community Hall, and hear how it was salvaged and moved to its present location.
