Yet\, the increase in colonial warfare during the late 1600s-1700s forced many Native families to relocate. \n\nThis talk by Dr. Margaret M. Brucha c\, Professor Emerita of Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania\, offers insights into regional Native histories by critically revisiting co lonial records\, antiquarian histories\, and Native memories. \nThis progr am will begin at 7:00 pm after the conclusion of the 6:30 pm 2024 Annual M eeting (all are welcome to attend) ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://pelhamhistory.org/wp-content/uploads/pro grams/02_IntroductoryMap_1829_clip_Massachusets-1.jpg CATEGORIES:Programs & Events LOCATION:Pelham Library Ramsdell Room\, 2 South Valley Road\, Pelham\, MA\, 01002\, United States GEO:42.378065;-72.468994 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=2 South Valley Road\, Pelha m\, MA\, 01002\, United States;X-APPLE-RADIUS=100;X-TITLE=Pelham Library R amsdell Room:geo:42.378065,-72.468994 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:America/New_York X-LIC-LOCATION:America/New_York BEGIN:STANDARD DTSTART:20241103T010000 TZOFFSETFROM:-0400 TZOFFSETTO:-0500 TZNAME:EST END:STANDARD END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
