Welcome to the Pelham Historical Society and a fascinating glimpse into how Pelham, Massachusetts, helped shape the nation and the world we live in today. A program of events throughout the year, archives for research, and a new museum exhibit—open on Sunday afternoons this summer—are your windows into the past. From early Scotch-Irish settlers to today’s citizens, Pelham residents have made an impact on the world far beyond their rural town’s borders. Follow Pelham’s story. At times it echoes the history of other rural New England communities—at other times, it is quite unique. Attend an event, visit the museum, or share your talents as a volunteer!

The museum opens for the season. Come visit to explore old and new exhibits.
A new exhibit illustrating Pelham’s Townsfolk – Seeking & Defending Freedom will be on display to honor our Nation’s 250th anniversary.

Museum Opens 1:30 – 4:30 pm

The Historical Complex grounds are Open EVERYDAY Sunrise to Sunset.

Memorial Day Observance

Meet at the Quabbin Park Cemetery to honor individuals removed from their original resting places for the building of the Quabbin Reservoir. Refreshments at 10 am will be followed by a parade at 11 am. Walk with us behind the Pelham banner.
